Money buys freedom, not stuff (if you let it)
The point was never the stuff.

Here's the question all of this is really about: what is money for?
The default answer the world hands you is βstuffβ β buy more, upgrade, consume. But chase that and you find a treadmill: the new thing thrills you for a week, becomes the baseline, then you need the next thing. Stuff is a leak, not a destination.
The better answer is freedom. Money, used well, buys options: to leave a bad job, to take a risk, to help someone you love, to not panic when life breaks something. Every dollar you keep is a small unit of future choice. That's what saving and investing actually purchase β not deprivation now, but autonomy later.
You don't build wealth to die with a big number. You build it to own your time. Keep that as the goal and every other money decision gets clearer.
This week: redefine the target. Not βrich.β Free. Then ask of each choice: does this buy me more freedom, or just more stuff?
