The plan sounds responsible: get my income up, then start investing. The problem is that day never quite arrives — because “more money” is a moving target. You earn more, you need more, and “later” stays later forever.
The skill isn't waiting until you have a lot. It's learning to start with a little. Investing $25 today starts the compounding clock — but more importantly, it builds the identity. You become a person who invests. Once you're that person, scaling up is easy, because the hard part (the habit) is already done.
People who wait for the perfect amount usually wait forever. People who start tiny, imperfectly, with almost nothing, end up ahead — because they started.
This week: invest a small, almost laughable amount. The number doesn't matter. Becoming someone who invests does.
